I brought myself a nice looking stubby arial for my car and within 12 hours of putting some cnut had nicked it.

if i use super glue to stick it its gonna screw it up isnt it? how can i fix it in place?

Take the thing off!! I have one on mine and for that exact reason I take it off when ever I leave the car. I just unscrew it and put it in the door pocket. (its ok at night its in the garage) This method is alot cheaper than paying out £15 - £20 every time some theiving scum nick it cos they cant be arsed to buy there own...

use a little loctite on the thread, that'll stop the theaving scums out there! just remember that you may not be able to remove it either though!

boiling water breaks down the threadlocking compound if u need to get it off.
