By that they mean that it's a lens not a projector (lens is what you have in the bravo even that don't have xenon).

You can't put xenon on projectors, they'd blind people.

its the otherway round mate you can put xenon in projectors but not in the ordinary reflector style

aren't the lights set up for LHD not RHD though?? if your buying them from germany they'll be for LHD for ppl that drive on the right

wouldn't they be adjustable like normal headlights? There should be (haven't checked yet) some adjuster screws to align the beams. In that case it would not matter if they are for LHD or RHD

yes it does as the pattern is still being focused in the wrong direction no matter how much you turn the actual headlight lens

I am not so sure... For example, when you import a LHD car (American lets say) you have the beams directed to be able to pass a UK MOT. I'm sure zee Germans will be able to tell you if you drop them a line!

i have wrote to them before regarding another set for my ibiza to they dont do rhd lights and have no intention to as its such a small market they are non adjustable too

personally id say thats the opposite way around

Yes, you're right about this. In english the ones with the small lens are called projector lights.

My interpretation of how the germans called them stands correct though, in other languages (including french, german), the lens tearm is used to describe the projector headlights.

its no the level that matters thou its the angle of the pattern

see rhd is focused to the left and lhd is focused to the right

You can put xenon bulbs in any Units. It seems you and others are getting confused between xenon and HIDs ;)

Correct, but as already mentioned HIDs.

Only factory fit HID lenses are required to be able to do this. And as these are not HID units I highly doubt it.

Other way around as mentioned. I can't see how other country's refer to them that way around when one projects them (the ones we refer to as projectors) and the other reflects.

Now don't get me wrong guys, I do like these, but legally if they're not A) RHD pattern or B) E marked they won't comply with UK vehicle lighting regs and will be illegal and most defiantly for part A) very dangerous to use in the UK.

HID is basically the same technology as Xenon and in most countries it's actually called Xenon like in germany.

You can install Xenon bulbs in almost any headlight type but it's illegal in most countries as they work properly only with projector lenses hence why the website specified XENON LENS.

Knowing you, you're still gonna reply with some half baked argument, I'm used to it by now.

It's hardly half baked, it's fact! Xenon is only the gas used in the bulb, HID is the type of bulb (Arc compared to filament)

The majority of uprated Filament bulbs use xenon gas.

It's ok though. I'm used you you obviously not knowing what your on about and then getting ****ty with people who do ;)

So first you say that HID is not Xenon, but then you say Xenon is HID?

What matters is what was meant by Xenon lens on that german website, and germans don't say HID they say Xenon like the rest of the world.

Where did I say that? Because it wasn't in your quotes. So stop trying to twist my words.

As for waisting your time, I don't make to surf this forum or read my posts ;)

Feel free to add me to your blocked list if your wish, doesn't bother me either way (y)

basically you need the domed len style headlights and emarked stuff for it to be legal.

but these headlights are still no good for the uk market as the lighting pattern is all wrong END OF lol
