Thermostat HELP needed!!

Well i think my thermostat needs to be replaced, need your advice really. It has being staying low all the time but only goes up when the car become stationary for a while or is in slow moving traffic. Eg. travelling back from the xmas meet on the motorway and it was very low all the way so i couldnt warm me up!!Darnnn..

Would this also be the reason y my car is not starting very well aswell eventhough i have changed the plugs??

Anyone help would be much appreciated!!

Al, I had same problem with mine 1.6sx only getting to quarter on the temp guage plus poor running as well.Put a post on ere and Tom told me what to do with pics too think he put them on the FAQ bit or he asked for it to be.Anyway thermostat for mine was £50 got my garage to do it for a further £30 and its running sweet as a nut also it gets warm again LOL.Gotta say big thanks too Tom for helping us out.I was at xmas meet red bravo 1.6sx with valbrems.
