The worlds biggest St Georges Day parade is in West Bromwich today, is anyone on here going?

The St Georges Day Parade First organised by Mr Mark Cowles and now grown to be the Biggest St Georges Day Parade in the World, The 1.8 Mile Route From Stone Cross ,West Bromwich to dartnmouth park attracts over 25,000

This years event also features a Huge Fete at the end of the Parade In Dartmouth Park We have a full size Spitfire Plane,Hawk Shows,Viking reenactments Bouncy Castles,Craft Stalls,a 40s themed area around the Spitfire ,Pat Collins Fun fair food and drink stalls community stalls all put on by stone cross st george all free of charge .everyones welcome to come along and enjoy Englands Day .No Politics of any kind will be allowed its a Family Event for all


I'll be in the Horse & Jockey, St Clements Lane from about 1pm onwards if anyone fancies raising a glass or two to St George.
 
Surprised it wasn't banned on the grounds that it might offend some minority or other.

Its getting bigger every year, not sure there was as many this year as last year(25,000) as the weather wasn't the best but it was still an ace day out. Not sure they could just ban it, far too many locals would be p*ssed off if it was.

Even the old bill are very few, private security firms looked after it all. My lads really enjoyed it.
