So how are you supposed to counter hold the threaded bit when it's inside a socket then?
Was thinking you could possibly use an 18mm socket to losen it. but even thats unlikey

why no like my post? air gun always works for me, spin off with out holding the middle
got a pair of stilsons?
failing that, if its like really rusty, cant you get in to chisel the nut off? had to loads of that on my panda haha
replaced the lot wits stainless steel nuts and bolts...

DO NOT use stainless bolts on suspension components! They don't have a high enough tensile strength so could potentially snap!
We actually followed daves advice for the top mount on the bulkhead, Mainly due to the fact that the hub held the strut in place and stopped it rotating.#
However after removing from the bulkhead theres another bolt holding the strut together, this needs the counter turn stopping, but didnt need an offset spanner, so just used an 18mm and 9mm Spanner/Socket.

Do you mean to view your page how someone else will see it? Click on the little cog next to 'Activity Log' and 'View as'
