I hope not Vance, my Ka's blew a few months after I bought it but it was nothing like what my Bravo's doing atm. I bought her for £375, spent £200 fixing her and if it's gonna cost triple figures again it's gonna be easier to scrap and buy a new'un.

I'm not in *desperate* need to find out what's wrong tonight (mind you, the 15 mile drive to work tomorrow wont be happening...), I just wanna know if it's salvageable or not based on what can be heard and the symptoms being given, so I can look for a new car.
