Is it ok to run a car without the vacuum advance connected? the vacuum advance on my car seems to be advancing the timing far too much!
probably but you wont have any advance but the centrifugal advance.
I suppose it just makes the spark later, so less power/more fuel for partial throttle. wide open and closed/slightly open it shouldn't make much difference as it's between carb and throttle valve. hmmmmm it'll be alright.
