I've installed a CD player head unit in the garage and been using it for some time, the battery I had powering it is a bit kaput now though. Rather than getting another and keep recharging it every few weeks is there something on the market I can buy and just plug into the mains to power it? Like some sort of 12 volt transformer

How about one of those multi-voltage dealios that Argos normally do? Just chop the multiplug off the end and splice the wiring together, job done

Certainly looks like it to me. Report him for harassment and facebook will probably remove his profile, they tend to remove profiles for smaller things so this should be a problem for them to do

I've tried that but it doesn't cope with the power consumption of the HU. Just like when battery is flat screen comes on but not enough power for the speakers to function.

Try a PC Power supply unit then, they run off 12v as well and again should be a simple splice and join job

Anyone got a cable so i read the codes on my punto in/near york that i can borrow? The airbag lights are on and i want to know why! Everything else electric works though and no more misfire! I want to keep my punto so bad but god knows what else it will throw at me in the future. Is it worth it?
