At what point does the trip computer on a Mk2 Punto flick back to 0 and start again? (NOT the odomoeter reading, the trip one).
(I'm tired, just driven back up from Crawley having had a busy week lol)

Most are 1,000 miles for analogue, if it's digital though I wouldn't even think it would reset.

Think again. Mine starts again at 999.99miles. But as a Sporting owner I get Trip A and Trip B computers :slayer:. Unless im in the coupe then I need to use an abacus.

id say it was okay aslong as you didnt have any intention of takeing advantage of her and also if you know she wont be completly mortified in the morning

Thanks, I know I'm lame but that was like a weight off my mind. I knew exactly where I wasn't going to let it go.
I had to phone home and say I'd be staying the night over there just to get her to go to bed and then leave as soon as she seemed to be asleep because I could picture the reaction I would have got in the morning since we haven't exactly made it that far yet.

When I got there she disappeared for a minute and came back taking a swig from a bottle of sherry... I suppose that would have done if I didn't have to make it home by car
It turns out the manager at work has phoned both of us to come in, how awkward would that have been
