You wouldn't get job seeker's allowance but you should get income support. I think.
That's what I was told last year anyways.

as said you wont get JS as you are not available for work
have you earned enough for income based payments?
best to ask the dole office first

i remember when i dropped out of uni and had to go to the most depressing building in the world
i got told i wasnt eligable for incom,e based as i hadnt earned enough
having worked since i was 16 i queried this and was told it was only calculated on the last 2 years.
so the 15 or so years before meant nothing :bang:
Does anyone else get really annoyed at train stations when there is a pretty empty platform and one person stands waiting for a train and it seems 20-30 people will follow and stand within 10-15 feet of them?
you walk up the platform and people stand in groups of 20 or so
I don't get it surely you want a seat and what chance have you got of getting one when you stand in the middle of a group of 20 people is a lot less than when you can move 30 feet away and stand on your own. But then a group will form round you.
I was waiting on the underground once I was literally the only person on the platform and a bloke came and stood about 10cm's infront of me. My nose was almost touching his back.
I thought it was a joke and there would be cameras. I barged in to him and then stood with my heels up against his toes until he got the idea and moved.
What a rant I hate public transport

The bit near the end my car gets hit by a massive puddle from another car and I went "wooaaah" like a proper old woman but you can't really hear it
