Paul just give it up, the general concensus agrees The OC is watchable at the very least! :p

I will never give up on my hatred of such a crap TV series! (until I one day begin to like it again) :p

Looks like we're going to have a brawl to sort this one out

I don't do physical violence I'm afraid...the superior qualities of my intellect will have to suffice! :p

Superior interlect? Ouuu now that's a challenge, arts girl :p

Easy now- science is about learning a few measley facts- arts means creating them! ah ha!

Not a bad quote, however, I would rather be learning and thinking about things that matter than drawing an orange in a fruit bowl.

You may create things, but what use do those things have? :p

"The arts deal in the particular, the individual and the personal while the sciences deal in the general, the universal and the collective." - somewhere off the internet.

Without arts we wouldn't have language; without science you and I wouldn't be talking...it's a funny old world.

P.s. let me know if you take any of this seriously and I will stop :)

As Oscar Wilde said-All art is quite useless.
(The Portrait of Dorian Gray)

But I think making the world more beautiful is time better spent than creating things that detroy it....

Don't really take anything seriously now :D

Don't really take anything seriously now - good :) It's only a bit of fun.

True about creating rather than destroying, however, not all science is about destroying it! I bet you couldn't live without your mobile right now, your PC, your TV and radio, they didn't make themselves :p An "arts person" did do the advert which led you to buy it however.

As Paul (pghstochaj) once famously said "Science is better than arts" :p
