The Next Meet

Its the time of year again when we have to start thinking about arranging an Xmas meet up.

So ill ask the same old question: Where, When & Who?

To keep things easy for everyone, i suggest somewhere like Derby, fairly central and not that far from anywhere. (unless your in Penzance or John O'Groats).

A weekend in late November or early December to give everyone enough time to plan.

Lets have your thoughts/comments & alternatives.

Hey Dill, I suggested the Chinese / Pub that we went to ( the one with mouthy Cov supporter and the nice barmaid) that has a large car park/ resteraunt. What you reacon??

yep i can reccomend the pub & the bar maid.
(i tried the beer, but didnt get the chance to try the bar maid)

Leamington Spa (South of Coventry) is the new location. how is this for everyone?

Bit of a distance for the North West BOO crew,
But if there are a few going then i'll try to be there too.
It'll be good to see everyone again.
Is anyone else going to try and attend the N.West meet at Middlebrook.?

I'll be on for the North West meet and definately an Xmas meet. Would be good to try and organise a hotel/b&b so we can at least have a beer together. Bit of a shitter how none of us can drink because we're all driving.

I looked into blackpool weekender, the pleasure beachis closed until easter time, but before then i'm guessing b&b'#s would be cheaper?!?! What you all reckon??

Yeah there was a thread about this a few weeks ago.
I've been trying to get in touch with a place just outside Derby, country pub, fantastic food!
Just off the A50 again like last year.
I e-mailed them last week, but i've been off work sick this week
I'll give them a call today and see what dates are free and what the cost would be.

Snap. I should be able to make it to both meets as well. Alhthough I'm pretty sick of driving this week - done 1000 Miles in 3 days. My back is sore :'(
