So got clunking from front drivers side area when going over bumps. Movement in both wheels side to side, has to be something with the steering I think as replaced pretty much entire suspension at that side:
Shock absorber
Spring
Top strut mount
Inner track rod and end
Wish bone with ball joint
Drop link
Only thing not replaced is bushings on stabiliser but they look ok and with movement in steering I really don’t think it’s that. Also can hear slight knock when moving steering wheel back and forth at set point. Any chance someone knows what is causing this? I’m at my wits end and my garage can’t take a look for 3 weeks.

Strangely enough a 2010 1.6 Fiat Doblo Maxi van of mine has just started a light rattle on front end which seemed to come on after going up a bumpy lane, I suspect in my case it is an antiroll bar link, although they don't look that old.
Other sources can be the steering rack inner joint inside the rack boot also usually on the less supported N/S, the bush that rack end moves through.
Re the anti roll bar bushings they usually make a deeper dull knock when worn, but hard to feel any movement unless on a level ramp as and difference in height from one side to the other pre loads the bar and makes it hard to see movement.
Bottom ball joint , but you have replaced the wishbone.
Re the steering rack noise, if you put it on lock and then get someone to rattle the steering you may be able to grab the steering arm and pull on it downwards to see if noise changes.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve replaced the inner joint. What do you mean put it on lock? As in jack the front up. Lock the steering and hold the inner joint and move to see if noise changes? If it does change what does that mean? Thanks

With the vehicle sat on a flat road, turn the steering all the way in one direction(full lock) this should allow you enough room to get your hand in towards the inner end of the steering arm but still with the vehicle suspension in a normal road condition with the weight of vehicle on it, so when steering shaken to make the noise by someone else, then if you put pressure with your hand on the steering arm, if the noise changes then you have located the source. Repeat with the other side.
When you say you have replaced the inner joint, I am assuming you mean something like this below, in which case the noise may still come from the support bush inside the steering rack.

Thank you, ye that’s the exact part I’ve changed on driver side where noise is coming from. I will try what you say thanks.
