Got a new camera :D

Must not take this to the scrap yard in a bag of tools!!

Can you see any progress?

Guess you can't see the pain caused by loosely fitting the front sub frame, suspension anti role bar and engine, then going round with the torque wrench. DON'T EVER DO IT!! Torque as you go!!!

Got the cooling system plumed in. Only 1 joint failed the blow test. Was a jubilee clip of the wrong size.

Got a few other bits and bobs in and seems to be taking shame rather quick.

I did find my slow fan speed resistor had rusted away, as has the one on my spare fan cowling. I’ve bridged the gap with a fuse for nor as it’s the only double ended male lucar spade I had to hand.

:idea:Retro show 2009.?.

Few more bits done this evening.

Can’t get my head round which rout the turbo to cooler pipe should take. It just seems to want to occupy the same space as the bottom rad hose.

May have a look at rotating the end housing and using the MK2 pipe (under gearbox).

I wanted to post the Team America montage clip, but this video has been removed due to a copyright claim by WMG.

where's the car?!

Cheers guys.

indicators are the last thing on my mind ATM :p.

Thanks for the block diagram troy!!

As some know, I have a fule pump buzz, I have a starter moter turn

the fule pump was a bit intermittant at first, then decided to only work when I pressed the horn

After a change of fuel ECU, the pump started to behave as expected.

but I don't seem to have a spark (n)..

So far have swapped,
Flyweheel sensor,
Crank pulley sensor
coil
AFM
parting the overpoost spade connectors  shouldn't have been touching
ECU - which made the fule pump stop working - so put the old one back.
Distributor cap
plug leads
knock sensor

I think It's the ECU or a broken wire in the loom  will have another gander later.

Anyone got a trailor for retro rides?

4am you was up till last nite doin the above:eek: ..you working too hard!
I fell asleep soon after 2am-ish when the novelty and excitment of hearing it breath for the first time was overtaken by the need for some sleep :spin:
