Please help me i keep on putting a 15A fuse below the steering wheel location 13 and it keeps on blowing. I tried to put a Car Kit 91 Nokia where i was puchasing the fuses the guy told me there might be a stretched cable a short circuit please if anyone knows where the problem could be please help.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Did the fuse start blowing before or after you fitted the car kit? Position 13 is the horn and should be a 20A fuse. Are you sure this is the fuse you mean. If this is the correct fuse then unscrew the fuse panel and remove the centre relay (E2 Horn) and see if the fuse still blows.
Come back with more info and we'll try to help.

Thanks Dave for getting back to me, if you go to this site: http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/run-a-bravo
you will see that it says its in location 13 also it says its a 10A but on my car it was a 15A, my speedometer, revometer, petrol gauge, temp gauge and the all the warning lights and the brake lights and the signal indicator, don't work, except for the lights, and the light sign in the instrument panel.
Also the fuse started to blow after i just put the cables for the car kit, i hadn't even connected the wires for the electricity, all i did was to put the black box that came with the Nokia CARK91 (Car Kit 91) in the fuse location under the steering wheel so that it doesn't show. When i was closing the door it did feel like it was a little packed but not that packed to stretch a cable.

Thanks for your cooperation

I'm using the Porter Bravo manual but the BOO site is very good and matches your symptoms better, so go with that.

Did you route any of the cables through the dash? You may have caught a panel cable then. Do any of the wires that you have put in have bare ends and are shorting out? Is there any metal on the box that is shorting something out?

Borrow a small mirror and use that with a torch to check out any wiring in difficult to see places. It really is just a case of looking at anything you may have touched or dragged when you were putting the cables and unit in. Another thing to check will be the dash lights, did you remove or disturb any of them?

Sorry that this does not sound like an instant answer but tracing electrical faults can be long and boring. Good luck.

thank you for your help, i have found the problem i installed a new sony stereo and i wanted to change the pins from the electrical cable to connect the continous power cable to the corresponding cable on the stereo and i was pulling it with pliers and i striped a small bit on the orange cable but i put electrical tape over it and now its working perfectly.
i have only one more question is it possible to change the dashboard green lights to white only the green bits, including the speedomete and revometer.
