Right, I know there are loads of other threads started about this problem but, I don't seem to fit in any of them. My error comes on in about half a minute (or less) after I start the engine on (or even just putting the ignition on). Doesn't matter how much I fiddle with the cable, the light won't go off.

I've already tried removing the OCS mat and flip it on the other side. Still no go.

After connecting it to FES I got this:

32 Front passenger weight sensor - Unknown / Internal error - Intermittent / Present

I've tried removing the gray cable (which is the OCS cable under the seat) and another one appears saying:
32 Front passenger weight sensor - Open circuit / Short circuit at +V batt - Present

So I presume it's not the connection, but the OCS. Even though, why do I have the error all the time, no matter if I have or not a passenger in the car?

And also this is bugging me because I got the Abarth cluster and I get on the display (it is the colour lcd one) airbag system failure and can't get it not to show (if I press Menu, the text disappears but the large icon error is still there, and can't do anything, can't go in the menu, can't access anything).

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Andy

According to your first fault description, it looks like the actual OCS has an internal fault.

The ECU will be continually checking to determine whether a passenger is in the seat. If you disconnect the connector, the ECU can no longer check for the internal fault so can only show the circuit fault.

:bang: thought so... anyone around has a spare OCS mat? (one that works that is :p) I just phoned my local (I say local, it's 40 miles away) fiat dealer and quoted me £209.09 for the OCS mat, and I seriously can't afford it now.
I will probably buy a simulator meanwhile and look for a passenger seat in the breakers... any ideas other than this?

LE: anyone knows how can I get rid of the warning off my lcd?? menu button doesn't work, and can't see anything on the lcd  I will add a photo a bit later so you can all see what I'm on about.

LLE: as promised here are the photos (so basically first photo shows what appears on the lcd and second what happens if I press menu ie. just the text disappears):
