Doesn't matter which road it is, it's not about being right, it's about being safe. If she'd have tripped over with you doing 40 that close to her, I wouldn't fancy being you...

exactly she puts her self at unnecessary risk playing in a road but its car driver that gets the blame.

i am not doing 40 when i pass her 40 is the road limit
i'd still rather be me doing life in prison than be like you though

Absolute rubbish dave.

Where in the HC or any laws does it say jogging isn't legal?

You get the blame as you could have minimized the risk and all this bother by moving out further and earlier.

it doesn't yet as when it was written people had more common sense and were taught at a young age by parents not to play in the road. now bad parenting and lack of common sense has seen a rise in people doing this.
she was even jogging she was sprinting, that is probably what makes you think i was going faster
Like you have pointed out there is no rule in there for running only walking.

making traffic have to stop is unlawful but not criminal

So almost every car parked on the road is unlawful?

technically yes if normal flow of traffic is obstructed, it may not often be enforced but that dont make it legal.

even this little brown dude has the sense to get out of the road when a car is coming, and the chicken stays on the verge.

Do you know her then? You drove straight past, If you'd stopped and asked she may have said she was jogging to work or the shops or to her friends house....

I used to work with someone who ran 5 miles to and from work every day.

Essentially if she'd been running in the opposite direction she'd have still been in your way, there is no path either side of the road. At least she could see what was coming and be ready to get out of the way if she has to.

As for "playing in the road" well. Everyone in the country has a much right to use the road as anyone else, and by suggesting they don't you're just making yourself look like a typically bigoted daily mail loving UKIP voting moron that lowers the collective intelligence of the whole nation

I think what Dave is saying is that if their is a jogger/runner/cyclist/child/animal in the road that isn't specifically mentioned in the Highway Code as being allowed to be there, it is fine to endanger them by not slowing down or taking avoiding action. (y)

what you think and what is reality are far apart

At least she could see what was coming and be ready to get out of the way if she has to.

that is the point they never get out of the way they are like you lot and deem them selves to have a right to be there and die for it

and as andy says motorist will always get the blame even if the pedesterian isnt acting as the highway code tells then to. it says walk

you taking the ****?

No, are you by saying people can only walk down it. I mean old people can only hobble along at times, and if you get a drunk and they'll stagger - which is better than them deciding to drive home.

You just seem to be picking on a point that absoloutly no-one else can see an issue with. just how did she put you out. What consiquential loss have you suffered because of her actions?

EDIT: Just seen what you're probably refering to with taking the ****, honestly didn't mean what I said in an offensive way, I ment it literally.

sorry i didn't realise that was the criteria for posting a video on the thread i thought if its filmed with a dash cam then its allowed.
I was highlighting how people put them selves at unnecessary risk, what thread should that be in?

Life's full of risks just think one day you might be mugged or be rammed off the road by a lorry who's driver has got fed up car drivers getting in his way.... Or trip on a loose flag stone and crack your head and not wake up

If you are that worried about risk you'd never leave the house... But then you might get a electric shock off your cooker and gassed by your gas boiler ... Oh that aluminium pan you cook your beans in might cause althsimers
