Yeah but many of these are just plain boring now
Dont wanna sound horrible, this thread was for us all to show each other dangers and how we can learn from them

Jeez guys, your getting a bit petty with the videos now, can you at least get some real juicy accidents etc on film?
It's not that I was overtaken by some motorbikes, it's that the moron pulled right in front of me then hit the brakes, forcing me to slow.

So bike over takes then puts brakes on except we can't see what the car in front of that is now doing as they are obscured buy the picture in picture view of the back which is no longer relevant. however we can just about see the roof line of the car suggesting its getting quite close at that point
I'm also fairly sure that when over taken you're supposed to drop back an maintain a safe gap between yourself and the vehicle in front after they passed till they pulled off at the round about you maintained a dangerously close distance to the bikes as did they to the car in front of them.
So in summery poor driving all round I would say!

You were overtaken and the guy that overtook braked for some reason - perhaps he thought he saw someone on the left in the cars (that are obscured from our view).
My point is - its very minor - verging on petty.
Do you rush home to view your videos to find the smallest of driving errors?
It must take a fair amount of your time as you'll be having to do this every day with the traffic today.

All that shows is he does get too close to the car in front, generally people do brake after over taking to lose the speed used in the manoeuvre, stops them ploughing into the next car in the queue
You still don't back off to create a safe distance, I don't care nor does it matter what you think of me, your driving on this occasion still wasn't whiter than white and I'm with EvoStevo these videos are often nothing more than petty ramblings of self I absorbed arrogance.
I look forward to your next video "man drives a bit close to kerb"

The hope is that maybe the quality of the videos will improve rather than posting this nonsense

At 24s on, you can very clearly see the distance between me & the bike is increasing.
At 31s there is more than a car's length between us.
And I look forward to YOUR next video - "car undertakes me because I hog the outside lane".

The distance between you and the CAR in front remains virtually unchanged throughout the video whether the bikes are between you or not, as a matter of fact at 31 seconds (the point you picked out as having the greatest distance) you are closer to that car than at any other point in the video, the increase in gap is down to the bikes accelerating and lining up for another over take, and not because you backed off.
one car length is not a 'Safe distance' in an emergency your stopping distance would have seen you somewhere near the back of that blue car with two bikes and bodies squashed between you

If you want to sit at home, going through the days video and saving it to the appropriate section of your drive - a bit in "got overtook by a bike" and another in "bad signalling" then one in "headlights dont work" by all means do - then post them on youtube go ahead - but really - it is looking like grasping at straws for something to put online belittling the whole thing.
We know there is bad driving on our (all) roads, we dont have to see every little bit of it.

15 feet (or 'about a car length'.) is the stopping distance at 10mph as bus is aproaching a roundabout i reckon its doing 10 mph or less.

You make this stuff up as you go along don't you?
NOTE; I said "more than a car's length" not 'one car length'
Also note, I did not pick 31s as the point of greatest distance, I simply said "At 31s there is more than a car's length between us."
Also, how do you know that I was not backing off? My speed is not indicated in the video.
Maybe the car ahead was decellerating in order to enter the roundabout?

Seems to me like you want to see more "action" which you are not getting so your blood thirst has turned to being hypercritical of the videos that are being posted.....
It's the posters prerogative to post videos caught on their dash camera. I appreciate it's your prerogative to comment but c'mon please play nicely!

Also seems to me like you want big drama and not the everyday stuff. There's no big drama so you are belittling what does get posted...
