Seicento The Blue Seicento Project

Introduction

https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/data/3468/20121114_112904.jpg so hear is the new blue seicento i perchased for a bargin prihttps://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/data/3468/20121114_112904.jpg ce of £300
low miles only 46,000 miles but gearbox has gone bang so no driving it back plus no mot or tax

this is a 2001 seicehttps://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/data/3468/20121114_112904.jpg nto s 1.1 with the newer type gearbox (crap) :(

so the restoration so to speak will consist of getting it back on the road not ahttps://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/data/3468/20121114_112904.jpg lot to do just the box and other bits and bats (y)

so hear it is on the trailer after a 326 mile road trip to go and get it

https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/data/3468/20121114_112904.jpg https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/data/3468/20121114_112904.jpg
towing car was family car a picasso 1.8 16v not the ideal towing car back end was slamed (looked cool though) as for power it was not to shaby on the motorway and hills

so hear it is as it stands now

needs a good clay bar on this one :p but other than that not to bad at all

as for the gearbox something has gone boom the main probolem with this type of gearbox is that it is a wet conection that being when the rubber boots split you lose all of the gearbox oil

so i will be upgrading it to the sporting type gearbox dry conection type plus its proberly stronger aswell (y)

all typed on phone so if anything is iffy you know why lol:p

That will be the wiring diagram for wiring it as an interceptor that has always been available on their website:

http://www.ecumaster.com/download/DET3/DET3_WiringDiagrams.pdf

Mine is the wiring for for fuel implant. I just cut up the original wiring diagram along with some Polish chaps and adjusted it to suit. Then added the injectors and temp sensors... (y)

Ahh I see had a look into ecu master it all sounds complicated to me :( is your ecu the micro one ? Or are the looms similar ? But musnot become side tracked the green one needs to be done well on that note the subframe is going to be welded by my mate a master welder :) so that will be updated soon

You need staged with your throttle bodies on the bike enginge PP/CP the DET won't do it (it will control the timing though). Just get the mechanical stuff done and worry about that bit when you get to it. It won't be a problem, these things have a miraculous way of sorting themselves out when needs must. ;)

right wee update on the blue one still running like a champ and handbrake cable changed revamped the rear brakes as well changed the handbrake actuator thing and packed the new one with copper grease and wow the handbrake is good i know its not a good thing but was going down a quiet road and applied the handbrake and the rear wheels locked up (y)

Blue sei met the grinder other day just chopped gear stick down a bit only an inch every time I went into reverse gator pulled up either cinq stick was a bit longer or then cinq box goes further on the lateral movement but all fixef now though :) and a nob I made at college shiny will upload pictures tomorrow :) found a nice parts distributor where I could find a new sei 899 downpipe to manifold gasket for my mates :) its all about keeping them on the road (y)
