Ok, confused.com now.

It wasn't the front reservoir, it was the rear one.

Refilled it, went to bleed the brakes. As Charlotte was pumping the brake pedal the air came out into the reservoir and the brakes started working.

Que?

No more fluid loss, but I haven't used the car much.

Tracking done by 'mark one eyeball' method. Seems much more stable and is pulling in the right direction.

Autotest tyres fitted, better post my entry form off tonight.

Stupid question... how do you remember the course???

Not a stupid question, maps are issued, then I walk the course once with the map.

Then a second time without the map (checking it after each element to make sure i got it right).

Then before starting, (the time keeper gives you the go ahead to proceed, but the timing doesn't start till your front wheels cross the line) I visualise the test in my head.

Then......................give it the full moo.

The plot thickens!

Following a navigational scatter last night (used the Land Rover, not the Cinq) I am lying second in the championship with my marshalling duties out of the way. 1 event left on the 4th December.

The theory is I need start and finish points to get the result.

Better do some 'reliability' work on the car this week.
