Anybody has an idea about the price of oxygen (lambda) sensor? They asked me 100£ excl. VAT for that.

£100 for a lambda sensor !!! i thought these things were like £20 max, or am i thinking of something else ?

the lambda sensor is the thing that is welded to the cat isnt it ? to sence air flow out of the engine ? i could swear these things were only about £20.

or do you mean £100 incl fitting ?

They screw into the exhaust just infront of the cat and sense the oxygen content.

The bravo needs a 4 wire one and they are about £30-40.

No I mean 100£ really before tax. By fitting they will probably ask me around 150£. We have only one Fiat dealer in our town, Trondheim (Norway) and I feel they get what they want!!!!
