the temperature gauge on my 2004 2.2 ulysse is showing totally full (high) even though i have only just started the car! It has 'spiked' on me like this a couple of times and has always reset when i turn off the ignition and start it again. But today it is doing it all the time. Everything is running fine, but now it wont let me turn off the automatic headlights either. Any ideas? It isn't actually overheating, although it is bringing in the cooling fan.
