Anyone else fitted one of these plug in units? I fitted a small on/off switch into the 12v feed the plug with LED as it's always on. First time used car after fitting had flat battery, but in daily use would probably be ok without a sw.

UK ANCEL A202 OBD2

I have been using it for years, I have several models in different cars. All of them turn off by themselves after a while. It can be adjusted. Leave it on and you will see how it turns off. They work very well.

Hola (y) - Draws <10mA when 'off' - (actually 'sleep mode') - not a lot but as I don't use mine every day I added a small isolator sw located in the plug. You probably use yours more or have better battery! (and it's warmer over there ;))
I only use it as temperature gauge - and yes, I agree, works very well. I previously relied on Torque using phone but found it too much of a faff to set up every time... then was looking at a mechanical set up with gauge and sensor fitted in top hose and in searching discovered these.
Got mine last October - on offer at £20 - I'll def get another for my other cento! cheers :)

Normally, the car is used little, and I always disconnect the battery in cars that won’t be driven for several days. It’s the best way. In a Fiat 500 that’s used daily, it’s always connected and nothing has happened. The square one is the first I bought many years ago; for the Seicento, I liked the round model better. But now there are more modern and nice models out. There are many. They also work for clearing errors/codes.
