I have just had a reconditioned engine fitted to my Bravo TD100 SX, the old one boiled up. Since fitting I have done about 400 miles - is it normal for the engine to feel 'tight' for a while. At 80 mph on the motorway it does not seem to pull well to 85 mph and the accelerator seems to be on the floor, I am in 5th gear. Is this normal for a recon engine until it is full run in?

Alsothe glow plug warning light flashes on odd occassions after starting - any ideas?

Many Thanks,

Andy

PS - I have slow passenger window syndrom and WD40 does help a little bit.

Hi

M8 of mine recon'd his cavalier engine and that was slow and unresponsive for a while. I am sure it willl be back to normal once you have driven it for a while
