Tax codes!!

This may sound obvious to most of you, BUT, everyone go check your tax code is correct!

I have been paying emergency tax (code - BR) for the last 8 months.

Rang up a nice lady at the tax office and she is sending me a nice little cheque of £914 and as a bonus I even got £68 from the year before when I was at college, she said I paid too much that year too

Just thought I would post on the off chance anyone is as stupid as me

I did manage to claim back some tax once a few years back - now I'm just on crap correct pay. Btw, the tax you got is pretty much what I get in a month after tax :cry2:

Its nice to get it handed to me in a lump sum if I just got it every month like I am supposed to, I dont think it would feel so good? lol

I spoke to 2 people in work yesterday and they were on BR too, hence why I posted just to make sure

Car might eventually get the side skirt stuck back on and a decent valet lol
