Now done over 350miles in my Mk1 uno Turbo, its going well, but have noticed the engine is very tappety, are they all like that?

The oil level is correct.

I will be servicing it this weekend. Might this help?

Any advice would be great.

I found this with all the Uno Turbos (not many) I have seen...

Someone told me its the Injectors :).

Guess it depends which tappity noise you can hear ;).

Can you adjust them?

Yes, but they are done by bucket and shims so that means measuring clearances first, then removing and measuring the shims, then calculating the correct size that you need.

As Louie says it could well be the injectors as they can sometimes make a tapping/ clattering sound.

There engines are quite tappy sounding. The injectors can be noisy, sounding like loose tappets

I only found out a couple of months ago ...

Someone called round with a rebuilt Mint Racing... I asked about the top end noise and was told its the Injectors :D.

And to think I was knocked down on price when I sold the MK2 tub on top end noise   ;).

I checked with the dealer and they advised 15/40, ill use that with a 1/4 bottle of a flush kit and when topping up illl use a 1/4 of the conditioner. I will be changing the oil regularly, as im not 100% sure of the last service date.

Its been in a garage for 3 years so, hopefully a good service will see it back up in power.
