Hi,

I have a 1.2 16valve engine that I have fitted a turbo too.

I need to find out if the spark plugs in the T-jet have the same thread and length as the normal 1.2/1.4 16v engines.

I expect them to be identical (after all they are all the the same engine)
I have done lots of research and the only thing I have found is that they are 1 grade colder (which is to be expected for a turbo engine) and that they are iridium.

Any help would be great.

I'd be stunned if they're not.

BUT, assuming you're looking for a plug to suit that turbo, this isn't the way to do it. You really need to run the coolest plug that'll give acceptable running under stop and go, town centre, poodling to ASDA conditions.

Start with the NGK plug recommended for your car. It'll have a series of letters and a number. If the number is (for example) 7, go buy a 9 or 10 (you might only find the really hard plugs at a bike dealer), see how it goes.

Iridium may have an effect on plug life and emmissions -- it will not do a great deal else.
