everyone else have this switch? what does it do?

thanks!

Switch everything on & see what goes off when you switch it?

Sorry no idea, maybe a DIY immobiliser / alarm?

Manual switch for engine cooling fan?

It's DIY for sure my car aint got one. Only way for sure would be to follow were wiring goes.

No mine hasn't got it either. I'd agree most likely is a manual over-ride switch for the cooling fan - it's a frequent modification, though not entirely sure why it's needed unless you go on the track or have head gasket problems..........

Gavin.

Yes a DIY switch. If it turns out to be for the cooling fan, I would be checking the whole cooling system. I may be wrong but It's there for a reason.

The cynic tells me one or two things. A track day helper, or the car was overheating & this was obviously put in. A well looked after Coops cooling system doesn't really need this.......but ......Have you had The Coop long?
