I have a 2011 Multijet 130 Camper that has developed a central locking problem...
Initially every time I locked the camper using the remote it would immediately unlock again - the some problem occurred when using the Sigma alarm remote control.
I could, however, lock the doors using the lock/unlock buttons in the cab but bizarrly the doors would randomly unlock again, sometimes in minutes, other times in hours. The unlocking behaviour assosiated with these buttons now seems to have stopped!
I can use the Driver's door lock using the key manually - this will lock all doors but unlocking using the key leaves the passenger door locked.
The rear door (camper habitation door) has electric locking but any other wiring, for example to sense whether the door is closed seems to have been disabled (cables cut in the Fiat loom).
I tried looking at the driver and passenger door lock mechanisms and both show no signs of broken wiring or corrosion. This leads me to suspect that maybe there's a fault in the central locking controller or the Sigma alarm. has anyone come across this type of problem before? Where is the remote locking controller situated?
