and now i have this... a bravo diesel(i was feeling sensible when i bought it) ....hmmm

Mate i offered to buy it off you about 4 week ago but you wouldn't hear of it. My 4K offer was very reasonable.

I did try to help, ah well. Got a Mint JTD HLX for £3K instead, so i'm glad i never bought yours got £1K in pocket.

my bravo's done 44k fsh.
no mods apart from 15 inch alloys and clear side repeaters.

how much would you want on top of this car?

It needs saying again.

You say you are bored and want something with more go. So do as others have suggested and get the JTD remapped.

You will have something with a lot more go and you won't be bored!

How is even considering another Bravo with less go (which covers all of them) possibly going to make you happy?

Get it mapped, resprayed and you will effectively have another car!

i think its the low revs on the diesel that r annoying him more than top speed. i'd remap it too, but maybe he just wants petrol for the 5500rpm.

i was just interested as to see what people offered me because if i was offered a newish bravo and some cash i would go out and buy a nice honda rc30 as i have my bike test next month and just have the bravo for the cold days...

and 'light warrior' i cant believe you swould swap that bravo..all that time and money..

it was someone elses time, and not all of it was my money either!. I bought it because i couldn't find a decent JTD to do up, and this was a ready made 1.8 HLX, which was the next best thing.
Yours sounds like just the thing i was looking for, and i would still consider, much to PaulR's disbelief i should think.

i take it '99 isn't new enough for you though?

The price is my business tbh mate. Pauls new car is something of a secret until the grand unveiling. we know only this:

its a completely stripped & rebuilt HGT with a few tuning bits thrown in (ecu, induction etc).

Its in one of about 20 shades of blue, probably.

Its going to have a sweet install.

and it should be finished for spring maybe, if he's lucky.

@Mig... probably best i keep the agreed price between me a Light Warrior,,, i did lose loads of money on her though but she has gone to a good home!

What light says is true, its a HGT, nothing has been done to in (modification wise) yet....

I have just had the glass all put back in after i had the 1st phase of the respray done (inside and under the bonnet (engine out i might add!)

As for it being top secret, there really isnt much that you dont know really...it isnt going to have as much done to it as my HLX but i few ittle touches...i fear the secret thing is going to make it an anti climax!

@Light... as i said before, its your car now so if you sell it today thats your business.....
