Just bought a preregistered 1.6 new with 11 miles on the clock for £7500 from Fiat Direct; unable to find a 1.9 JTD unfortunately; seems a bit underpowered but am unwilling to rev it until its been run-un a bit; very comfortable and quiet

Tim - yep its not powerful and over 3K under acceleration its noisy but get up to speed and it'll cruise fine at 80-odd....... We get about 36 MPG average and round town its brilliant. We've done 15k in 12 months and its been faultless.......well pleased
