Technical 2006 Sedici 1.6 petrol rev counter

Hi all

Help would be much appreciated. I recently bought this car and have noticed the rev counter is around 2.75 at 60mph on 5th gear. New clutch put in and same issue. 5 speed manual.

Does anyone know if this level of rev is normal for this car at this speed?

Yes quite normal, the Sedici 1.6 5 speed (rebadged Suzuki Sx4) is well known for high revving. If you google Sx4 1.6 and put anything regarding high revs etc there’s loads of people moaning about it. The downside of only having 5 gears!
