got laods of travel.... well ive never hit the bumpstops on it. jacked the car up today from back left so three wheels were off the floor.... stiff eh:p and the front wheel was just off the bump stop and it was inside the arch so got well enough travel...

The lowered chinqs are looking cool guys but are you doing anything to help correct the under-steer (let alone the roll) that these cars suffer?
I would imagine lowering amplifies both the effects of bump steer and roll steer ([ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bump_steer"]Bump Steer and Roll Steer [/ame])

If i try to take a right hand bend hard in my chinq (RHD car), i have difficulty staying in the drives seat. I have to grasp tight on to the steering wheel to prevent me being thrown into the passengers seat the roll is so bad :D

Are you guys fitting higher rated springs as well as a bump steer kit?

once the steering has been lowered you need to change the hight of the steering tie rods to run parralell with the control arms again. EXAMPLE

You must have after market seats to lower the driving positions. Then the driving experiences totally transform.

Rallycinq probably the best man to ask, but i think the bump steer has very little affect on the cinq.

Thanks

well as you can imagine with lowering you get stiffer springs and usually 30% uprated shock, so i no longer get body roll or got alot of it as standard tbh. as for understeed ive not had any of it yet. and i do drive hard. i know a strutbrace can help as i have one and good poly bush's.

i personally dont understand why i must move the track rods? they look fine to me and are ajusted great...... and the sei abarth has pretty good seats tbh nice sticky out sides haha so i dont go anywhere.

just reasearchg bump and roll steer and would say a sei and cinq wont suffer much from either....

bump steer increases with suspension travel and lowereed cars get less of this? and as its not a solid axel again show less of it? also the steering rods are behind the wishbones not infront so again show less of it. i understand what it does and its a fair point but wont it be a bigger problem on heavier cars with the track rods infront of the wishbones?

roll steer is again a valid point but i understand that its when you roll off the surface of the tyre? due to body roll? if so the camber of the wheels when lowered will make it so this isnt the case.
