I've found a full 40mm lowering suspension setup on fleabay but it's for an uno turbo and not a 60S. Will it fit straight on?

Yes. The suspension is basically the same, just the spring height/ rates and damping rates being different. As you have a 60S you have the same basic engine as the turbo, just in 1116cc form. 40mm is a sensible drop as though 60mm looks cool it's a bit much for British roads/ potholes.

If you can, get hold of a turbo anti-roll bar (plus ALL the brackets) and fit it as well. That will really tidy up the handling

Same suspension, so they'll fit no problem. I fitted a mk2 Uno Turbo anti-roll bar to my mk1 45S to give you an idea of the interchangeability

Look ok to me. I think going by the logo they might even be Koni shocks Ask the seller what make the springs are - some have the manufacturers name printed on the coils. Other than that, if you can get them for a good price then go for it. You do know they are pick only from Kettering/ Northants?

Also ask the seller if he has the anti-roll bar available. Fitting one of those makes a huge difference to the front end
