Hey all, my Sei kinda slops about how what is a good set up to reduce body roll and firm it up a touch but not over kill teeth shaking hard, as it's my everyday car.
hi mate well i went for a 40-40 sporting drop on my chinq apex springs standard shocks and it made a massive difference and has kept enough clearence for a lower brace which i intend to do soon and the ride is firm but comfortable and has stopped most of the roll
please try a little harder in your next post, you not given us what kinda sei you have or what your budget is. At least try and help us help you
As Apple says, if you don't have a sporting then get yourself the arb (anti-roll bar) from a sporting as a start. After that suggestions can only be based on how much you want/are willing to spend. But essentially you can get fixed shortened shocks matched with shorter springs or you can get adjustable shocks for more money. With the adustable shocks you can make it ride almost as standard if you like or hard as nails for 'spirited' driving. For big-buck you can have fully adjusable coilovers but as far as i know, there is only front coilovers available off the shelf but i maybe wrong, sure someone will correct me if so
Hi everyone yeah sorry I was thinking about £200 its a sporting, I was going to get some standard shocks with 20mm drop just to firm it up a little, I have seen lots on Ebay but I really find it hard to trust what I get from them, might shed the cash for a strut brace.
214 to be precise. you can find strutbraces for about 15 quid really second hand if you wait about and make sure you have that arb aswell as fresh bush's as they can account for sloppy handling
