Technical Suspension questions Marea W.

Hi!
I'm a newbie to this forum, (just bought a 2000 Marea Weekend 1.8) 9000km on the clock.
I lifted the car today and found some things...
First, one of the rear shock absorbers was covered with oil so i guess i have to buy 2 new ones..
Secondly one anti roll bar fwd was worn out, i will put 2 new pcs.
And one more thing, the rubber preventers inside of the springs (rear) were loose. (and damaged)
Questions:
1. Do I really need these?
2. If i do and have to fit new, can this be done without a "spring strecher tool"? I had to destroy them totally to get them out of the spring.

You can easily remove and replace the rear bump stops without spring compressors. You don't really need the bump stops - but I'd avoid carrying heavy loads without them.
