i want to lower my sedici. ive already got 16" after market aloys after a massive pothole completely destroyed one of my original alloys. i found a website called europerformance that had a bilstein full kit for £235 but as i found out when i ordered them they are no longer available:mad:. the only other kit they have is £450 is there anywhere else still doin lowering kits for sedicis? or a combination i can use thats not a massive dent in my wallet?

I've got a question about upgrading my tipo 2.0 8v suspension.. this topic seems the best place to post it :p

As there are a lot of Fiat, Lancia and Alfa models that share the underpinnings with my car, is it possible to get a stiffer suspension by using the suspension of a other model than the 2.0 8v tipo? Coupe suspension or Delta suspension perhaps? I don't want to invest in Bilstein or Koni stuff as it seems less affordable and I haven't got much to spent being a student.

Could I for example install the suspension of a Lancia Delta HPE? It should have the same mounting points but the Lancia is 200Kg heavier and more sporty than the Tipo, so the Tipo should be a lot stiffer after this conversion, without having to lower the car which wouldn't work for me with all the speedbumps in Holland.. It also depents on what they have at the scrapyard :)

kind regards,
TipoTurismo

For me the same question.

I have a Tipo 2.0 16v 1992, is it possible to fit Coilovers from an Alfa 155 2.0 16v or Fiat Coupe 2.0 16v on an Tipo 2.0 16v?????

Because there is enough choice for these cars but actually non for the Tipo.

problem is that the other models are all wider than the tipo meaning the front struts will give rise to camber issues unless you take the steering rack (maybe just the rack ends), wish bones and drive shafts. Koni used to make a kit, but parts say from a coupe 16v are so cheap you could probably go that route and get coupe/alfa suspension.
