Hi I hope someone can help...

my '99 ulysse just failed the MoT on front suspension arm ball joint dust covers, and rear axle beam bushes.

Popped in to see my mechanic who says that i'd need to get hold of complete suspension arms. does anyone know if this is true? Can the covers not be replaced independently?

Also, does anyone know if the rear axle can be dropped low enough to get access to the bushes or will the whole axle need to come off??

Please help, i've only got ten days to do it!

Many Thanks

thanks for the link... as these dust covers are available, I'm wondering if they can be changed without the need to change the whole wishbone. It's just that my mechanic said that the ball joint, wishbone and dust cover come as one part.

You would need to undo the pinch bolt which holds the balljoint to the hub, prise the balljoint from the hub, remove the old rubber seal, replace with a new one and then refit the balljoint to the hub.
