Supersprint is on!

Thanks to Danny and his written off Bravo (don't mean it like it sounds!) I've acquired a Supersprint.

Seems ok, makes a bit of a droning sound which is mildy irritating! Miles better than the Sportex cat back but I can't help thinking I wish it was a little bit quieter.

Not yet, need to get the rear bracket/arm/hook on the rubber bung properly. Its sitting far too low - ran out of daylight to faff around with it so made sure it was ok to drive back from Brighton.

Managed to get it sitting better today.

It could do with pushing forwards (towards front of car) tho as I think one of the bends is knocking on something

Wouldn't mind but there's so limited room when you just jack the car up and work on it from there. Oh if only I had a pit in my garage

Looking really nice dude, it'll be the backbox hitting ur suspension I'd imagine

Na I've looked at it the back box, it's well clear of the suspension. Seems to be the bend in the pipework to the backbox - hits the hub 'thing' (very large and cylindrical) leading to the wheel.

If it shifted 10mm to the front of the car, it would be fine.

but i think it could be the heat sheild. when does it hit?
mine is at about 75 when breakin. sounds like a helicopter under my car. haha

mine knocks on tickover, when i raise the rev slightly it goes. car sounds like a bag of **** at the moment anyway not firing properly whats next first rcl then this....

Did you take the heat sheild off Insy? You have to take it off with the Supersprint or it will knock. Also, that is def sticking out too far; may need to have another jiggle with it.
