General Supersprint Exhausts

PNL even if the cat is removed you can always add a racing cat or put a cat back. I dont know how the mot laws are in england but if the exhaust fumes is the only thing that is the problem a cat back or racing cat can fix the problem. By the way i took the liberty to ask supersprint if they would make a 1.6 exhaust manifold and what would be the least number of orders.

Now they told they havent made one but they would be willing to make one if they get 50 orders. No unfortunently i dont know if i can get that many from my club id say very optimistically maybe 15-20 i can get. So they suggested me to ask other clubs in europe. Would you guys be interested in trying to do this group buy? i think its worth it cause supersprint have had many good results on many other cars ive seen.If i see a good amount from you guys also ill ask the italian and german club in case we can round up from there also.

Also EuroStyling what price do you give the 814709 im thinking of perhaps ordering it from you and shipping it over since i see the dealer here is a shark.

I would always recommend using a sports cat..whats the point in having a system made up only to refit a cat at MOT time to stay legal here in the UK get it all done together bish bash bosh job done.... also without the cat in place and a decat fitted its likely to trigger and engine light due to the increase in flow with no cat there ..the pre and post lambdas will pick this increase up whereas if a sports cat is fitted it all stays hunky dory.. I will post up the possibility of a manifold for the 1.6 on our site and recommend that they contact you through the Greek forum to keep the group buy together..thanks for the time and effort you have taken with it

£312.08 including UK tax @ 17.5%

Shipping to Greece would be with DHL and I would have to get a shipping quote once I have the weight and dimension information.

Supersprint would most likely need a car to work from for a week or 2 if you wanted to go ahead. All special productions I have organised in the past they will only work with the car infront of them.

Minimum order of 50 sounds about right for a 1st time effort. Once the jigs have been made and they have recovered their costs they then make batches of at least 10 units. Hence me asking for this group buy number of 10.

Can i have a price for an entire system for a 2.4 abarth. If it a good enough price compared to the GSR system, then i might go for it! Cash waiting!!

I'd like to keep the original manifold, and first cat, but i'd like to replace the downpipe, flexipipe, second cat, centre pipe, and the backbox!

Not much to ask for, but i may need a new system for MOT purposes very soon!

PNL keep a post here on fiatforum for now with the list of people interested i always check the site anyways every 2 days. WHen i mean cat back i mean the cat in the back. when you fit a sports exhaust like the sebring which removes the cat usually they put the cat in the back end of the exhaust system.

Was designed last year and when tested it put an estimated 25/30 bhp on the doner car..cost though is around £1200.. but well worth it..it has a sports cat included in the full system..:yum:

When you consider over £7000 of man hours and development went into the making of it then it is cheap for a performance exhaust system that includes a sports cat as well ..I had a system built on my proton GTI which included a sports cat and that cost me £700 to get done..

I'm sure the Punto one might fit the stilo 1.4 but would need to get the cat sorted out when doing so because the original would be no longer useable..

your basically not gonna do anything if you dont change the stock cat with something better and easier for the system to breathe, your gonna spend all that money for a performance exhaust and get nothing but sound and no performance gain.

Correct.. all this cat back stuff has no benifit at all and to get a decent gain Coyle you will need a manifold /sports cat and the new system.. then you will be cooking..obviously your car will need to be remapped as well to get the best from the new system..

I wouldn't mind knowing about this either, since the 1.4 and 1.2 are fairly similar, the exhaust system would probably fit both. At least I guess they would.

Well supersprint already do a manifold for the panda 100hp so I wouldnt mind betting that one will fit the stilo also ..the rest will have to be custom built except the back box which supersprint already make [1.6 ] and that will do nicely..

I wouldn't mind knowing about this either, since the 1.4 and 1.2 are fairly similar, the exhaust system would probably fit both. At least I guess they would.

Still, should be different in diameters and primary and secondary lengths because of different cylinder capacities and different cams.

I wouldnt mind getting a decent priced sports cat, a new centre pipe. and a backbox. how much would a cat set me back?
with regards to a centre pipe, that would be quite cheap. as could get that made at any local exhaust place.
and would the back box from the 1.4 16v punto fit mine?
