General Supercharger on Fiat Bravo 1.4 16V .Opinions!

Hello !

I have Fiat Bravo 1.4 16V (90hp) and i was thinking of installing a supercharger kit (kompressor). Its 2011 model . I don t know much about this kit and i want to hear your opinions on this subject . Which benefits i will have and what disadvantages ?

If only it was as simple as strapping on a supercharger and off you pop. Not the case unfortunately.
This isn't a fully comprehensive list but off the top of my head you would need to uprate....
Valves
Camshaft
Fuel Injectors
Possibly Uprated Pistons
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Oil Pump
Fuel Pump
Install Intercooler
Water Pump
Sparks

Basically a n/a 90bhp engine would not be able to cope with the vast increase in pressure and air/fuel that would be produced when a supercharger, even a turbo is added without SERIOUS supporting modifications and an almost unlimited source of funds. If you want something like that look for a t-jet engined Bravo like my 150bhp t-jet.
Sorry to burst your bubble but your engine, especially the newer multi-air version, would not last more than a few days with a bolt on supercharger.
