If you are going to up the power to around 160bhp then agreed that a diff will help in the corners.

But if you want to gain alot more traction through the corners on a standard 100hp then a set of lowering springs will help dramatically

Jason has a 1.4 500 and he's got a quaife diff so I think he's fairly qualified to comment ;)
 
I've dropped the 500 30mm and had the quaife fitted. Dropping it will make it a harsh but will probably get rid of the rolly feeling on turn in. But if its traction you're after, the diff is where it's at. ;)
 
Once again I seem to have killed a thread with a question.

I'm aware that the Stilo/New Bravo clutch is a popular upgrade, but I would have concerns at 200+ lb/ft torque, even in the lighter Panda. What do others think? Fast road upgrades are just not gonna cut it I don't think.
