General Supaguard anyone?

sure you will appreciate space is limited in this type of event, i have been booked in since january and am marshalling on the day

it is really cool and a very different ambiance to something like AutoItalia Gaydon

high class restaurant is in fact a good analogy(y)

It turns out I'm going to London to photograph some models instead, so it doesn't really matter. No matter how much I love my car I still prefer human models over different models of car ;)

Supaguard - only had on one car, my yellow seicento sporting and it didn't really do a good job as within a few months the yellow paint had black specks all in it.

I had a red AX once and it went pink and the local car valeting company did something to the paintwork to make it red again, and I had it done every 6 months - dunno what they did (explained it once, something about a machine that strips the paint and polishes or something, or I may have been having a blonde day and misunderstood them - whatever, it worked lol).

I can confirm my car was valeted by the dealer before I got it - I had a lovely gouge in the paintwork done by their vacuum cleaner to prove it lol.

 Hey Lloyd, does that mean you will be able to come to the New Forest Meet 2? You know the curry is irresistable and the photo opportunities will be better this time.

Yeah, I'll be there if I can! Just realised the photography thing in London is actually the week before that so I'm completely free for the meet. (y)

It will have been machine polished to cut back the damaged layer of clearcoat. As for your valet service, they will have cleaned it but I doubt it will have been detailed fully (Clayed and prepped with IPA ready for the layer of sealant) as most dealers simply won't have the time to do that. I doubt they care enough to want to do so either!

I wish I'd have told them to leave mine alone now, it has scratches on the door sills and the bonnet has marks in the paint :(

EDIT: I meant to add this on, not make another post, sorry!
