Rarely unfortunately. They are usually fixed roofs. You do find the occasional opening one though if someone specified that option at the time of ordering.
I quite like the idea of having a fixed one with a sunblind for hot days.
I do like the fixed glass roof - it makes the car seem more spacious than it is.
The sunblind comes as standard, but it has a well-deserved reputation for being somewhat fragile.
If you're buying new, treat it carefully. If buying used, check it works properly before parting with your money.
Be aware that if the roof cracks (rare but it can happen), new replacements are four figures and the glass cover section of your insurance may (some do, some don't) exclude this type of roof, so check the fine print of your policy. If the worst happens and you can't claim on your glass insurance, the best plan is proabably a secondhand roof from a breakers and beer tokens to an off-duty windscreen installer.
when you open the sunroof check around the metal parts particularly round the drain channels for rust! yours may be newer than my 61 plate though!Update; the Lounge I'm buying does actually have an opening roof. It wasn't listed on the spec on Autotrader but I did a VIN decode and it said the roof was "electric".
The dealer checked and, yey, it is. This made my wife very happy.
I've no idea when I'll get my hands on it, though. I think it has left Doncaster but I've no idea when it will resurface in Milton Keynes ready for me to pick it up.
