Hello everyone I am new to this community just registered.

I have Fiat Stilo Coupe 2004 yop, and I have problem with my panorama roof.
The problem began few months ago during the winter my car froze and idiot me opened up the windows using key but as you know it also opensup the sunroof. It opened up to 2 rib/position and when I reverse the button to 0 it would almost close and go back to 2 postion. I was forced to open up to box and close it with the metal key manually. After that when I got home I disconnected 2 wire sets that go ino button for sunroof and curtain positions. Recently I have reconnected the pins but no response or lights come from the electronics there.

Does anyone know how I can fix it or maybe send some schemes. My guess is that the force of frozen burned some resistor or maybe broke the electromotor that controls open/closing.

I heard somewhere that when you open manualy you need to reset the sunroof using computer. Is that true?

Thank you in advance if someone has more specifi question I will answer it. :slayer:

EDIT: I've just used a tip seen here on formus to hold the round button until it closes up sunroof and it worked!! The panorama was working perfectly even closing curtain all the way back and front (i had problems with that also). Now the problem is I did the reset again and now no controls are working. It closes up the panoram if I open it mannualy but non of the round ar curtain u[/down controlls are doing their job now. Any ideas?

EDIT 2: Hm I cant open it with my key also, it opens up the door windows but not the panorama itself. Please Im desparate is there any other way to reset it. If I know press and hold i can hear the rear engine budge since it cannot move the curtain anymore cuz its fully closed. I don't want to screw aroudn anymore to not make even bigger problems. Also I reseted it the second time because when i was testing the curtain the button for pulling it back bugged and when i pressed button for pulling to the front it pulled it back so i thought might as well reset it again and now it's at the current state.

EDIT 3:

So this guy posted the procedure of resseting sunroof via round button
1 turn the rotary selector knob to position '0' (fully closed)
2 keep the rotary selector pressed (for longer than 2 secs): the roof closes
3 wait, keeping the roof completely closed until the blind has clicked shut twice (Hard closing position and then returns to the Soft closing position)
4 release the selector and press it again within 3 secs.
5 keep the selector pressed until the roof (glass and blind) is completely open and then closed again
6 release the selector;

The first part worked. I guess i got it to hard closing pos. However the retraction I mean opening of the roof 4-6 doesnt work when i press and hold it I hear the back motor making noises like as if it cannot move the roof anymore. Did I **** up durign the first 3 steps?
Please I am so desparate all even more because I made it work with first reset after 5 months. Now it's just stuck and I'm out of ideas.
I didnt pressed the 4-6 stepps within the 3 sec time limit when I firstly reseted it is there any way to now do 4-6 steps without doing 1-3???
Thank you

Problem solved: The cables that retract and pull inward and outward both curtain and glass were out of position in their nests within the motor box. I plan to grease them on next weekend so I'll be sure to take a picture and describe what have I done to fix the sunroof. Cheers! :)
