Hi

Anybody with a set of sunblinds fitted had the problem of the window side Blinds fading due to sunlight (don't as me when:cool:) especially on the rears.
Is there a Fix re-dyeing or something, plus lost a few clips anbody sells them or is there somthing else to use

Cheers Dave :D

I'm using no clips at all, even the rear and they all stay in place :)

Same with me the clips , mine awedge in so tightly they are problem even remove !

As for the fading , this will be my second summer with them on this year so hopefully they wont fade !!! But it could be worth a try with fabric dye , the one you would put in your washing machine , but maybe soak your blinds in the dye in the bathtub ?

Re: Sun Blinds clips for Multipla or other

Anyone found a place to buy replacement sun blind clips? (Multi or other?) Only just fitted my rear window shades and the clips have fallen off!

the tiniest application of double sided sticky tape to the rear window should keep them in place :D

fiat or whoever will try and rob a fortune of you for clips i bet :p

or you could even try a local stockist kind of place such as wilkinsons, pound stretcher etc

I cant remember where I saw them but I remember seeing a set of Stilo sunblinds which fitted to the rear windows and the back window. THey seemed to fit seamlessly into the window. Think they weren't cheap, does anyone know what im going on about?

Ah answered my own question:

Has anyone got these? Would you recommend them?

Someone must do... look at the sticker in the window in this pic for the 5 door blinds :D

Their website is definitely the way to go... alot cheaper than ebay at £47 a set for the 3 door and £51 for the 5 door (y)

Really tempted myself... :D

I got a 5 door set here - although originally bought 2nd hand off eBay, by a seller linking to a thread on here...

It came with a missing clip, even though he sold them as perfect - and wouldn't accept there was one missing!! So how 5 clips are supposed to go evenly across 2 back windows is beyond me, but they still fitted fine.

I may bring them along to Stanford if someone is coming along in a 5 door and is interested.
