Subwoofer or amp off switch

This might sound odd but here goes. I have a 2 month old little boy and wondered if there was a switch or something I could get so that when I have him in the car it would turn the sub off but when not then I could turn the sub back off (yes it is probably being an over cautious new dad so sorry if its a stupid question)

I assume that it would go on the remote lead but I wanted something like a switch I could mount on i.e. the dashboard to just turn it being on and off.

I know I could disconnect the sub or go into the headunit settings and remove all the bass but I know this would get tiresome after a while.

Yes just wire a switch onto the remote wire.
