500X Radio has no FM or AM stations

Hi all. Had a 2017 500x delivered yesterday. Used the DAB yesterday and the only problem with that is it doesn’t pickup BBC stations, bit there doesn’t seem to have problems with other station. However, the AM and FM band won’t pickup anything, not one station. Any ideas as to what may be the cause of this?

Have you done a rescan of DAB channels? If you’ve just bought the car and it’s come from another area it could explain the lack of DAB channels it’s picking up. Regards the AM/FM it could be an aerial issue, although received through same aerial as DAB it uses a different part of the aerial so it’s a starting point. Strange not to receive any AM stations although they are being turned off quite a lot nowadays though

I never thought of a rescan. I have now done one, but unfortunately it’s not made any difference.

Had the car out today. About 13 miles from home it would pickup the BBC stations on DAB, but still nothing on the others. If it can pickup signals where the signal is stronger, I’m thinking aerial/aerial base too.
