Hey guys

At the moment i have a pair of rather old subs, they were my brothers old ones and i got them for nothing so im not complaining.

They are a Kenwood WFC-W2505 and a Kenwood WFC-W2500 each at 10inch.

Having read some reviews on the net after i couldnt find any specs for them they turn out to be 125RMS.

I use to run 1 off a Kenwood amp at 150Rms which was fine so im going to do that agen.

But i have just got another amp which i can bridge to 200RMS.

Would the sub be alrite handeling this kind of power or would it just give up the ghost? As 1 of the reviews i read sed that a guy had been running it at 200RMS no problem.

Also i spotted 3 other Bravos at the Warrington cruise last night, who are ya?

Cheers

can't answer your question 100% but i'm thinking that the sub won't be able to handle that, but i might be wrong, if no one answers now, tom will tomorrow, or try these guys they are top on audio questions... http://www.talkaudio.co.uk

what colour were the bravo's mate?

i'm back home from uni now so will be going to the cruise next week hopefully lowered on and 17's :)

Alrite mate, il ask on there cheers.

I deffonatly know that 1 of the bravos was silver and had the same kit that Wimmy has, i think the other 1 was silver too with the same kit but different spoiler. There was also a standard looking yellow bravo aswell as mine.

I didnt have a chat to any of the guys but there was 4 bravos in total. I wont be goin next week due to damm AS levels:( but hey.

Also i did not realise that the cruise at Lidl car park doesnt go on anymore cos theive put metal ballards inplace infront of the car park (I havnt been for about 3 months). So when i got there i was like NOOO, a 45min drive for nothing, but then remembered about the 1 opposite B&Q and luckily it was buzzin.

Dan.

yeah, it's still opposite the big B&Q warehouse then yeah?

i'll chat to the other bravo lads next week and tell them about here, get them on...

you got an answer about your sub yet?

Nah mate still waiting for a reply.

Yeh its opposite B&Q and it was free this time, the stewards and organisers are a good bunch of fellas and there were alot of nice women there, and motors. Only the second time iv been as its about 40mins up the motorway:(

Still no answer off talk audio really.

Wheres Tom when you need him?:D

Im thinkin that if it try it it will work as 200 isnt much more than 150 which it has been run at before.

Ah sod it il try it:D

Dan.

200wrms will be fine...

Take the JL audio website, on the 400wrms sub, you only void the warranty if you input more than 750wrms...nearly twice as much! ;)

Unfortunatly the subs couldnt handle the extra power:( also the 2nd amp helped make all the lights dimm quite a lot when the bass kicked in.
So im back to using the 1 amp, i put a thicker earth cable on it and its working better than it was now so im still happy.

Time to save up for a twin 15inch VIBE install me thinks:D

Cheers guys

Dan.

Iv got a 15inch VIBE Zeta in my home setup and i beg to differ;)

To be fair i havnt heard many home subs, or car subs. but what i have heard i like the vibes the best. My uncles got Linn Isobariks on his set up at home which is really superb. Best system iv ever heard.

I just like the VIBES. Im more of a bass head than SQ i suppose.

Or can you suggest a 15inch and amp for under 600 quid that will be far better than the vibes?

Cheers

Dan.
