This may seem a really stupid question but what differences in terms of sound does it make if you have the sub like normal in a box, and if you have it round the other way so the front of the sub is facing inwards?
Makes no difference, just looks better if you have fancy magnets. If you do turn it round, make sure u switch over the + and -, so the cone moves the same way with the bass (i.e. into the box)
on my old sub box, when i had the subs the "normal way" they produced good bass but when i turned them round so you could see the magnet, they rocked so hard, the bass was ridiculous, this was in a sub box with a 5" hole in the top.
